The time has come. After months of nothing but “long term economic plan”, “NHS Privatisation”, “Bluekip” and general scaremongering it’s time for us to do our bit in this seemingly never-ending election campaign; vote! Even Russell Brand’s changed his tune on that front.
Of course many of you may not have registered to vote or, if you have, may not be planning to bother. That’s absolutely fine. Though at YoungThoughts disagree with Russell’s previous position and would like you to vote, it’s not for us to judge or tell you what to do.
Nor is it for us to tell you who to vote for. As you know, we don’t claim to be a news source and, frankly, we don’t think its for news sources to tell you who to vote for either.
That being said, for those of you who do plan on voting we also know how daunting deciding to vote can be. With that in mind, we have the perfect solution – VoteforPolicies.
As the video below aims to show, politics is about more than just personalities. More important than Nigel Farage’s drinking habits or David Cameron’s favourite football team are the policies they aim to implement. With their cleverly designed quiz feature you can objectively find out which parties have the polices that best represent you without getting distracted by the personalities. Give it a go.
P.S – Keep an eye out as we will be posting plenty of election updates over the next 48 hours.
P.P.S. – We are really chuffed to say that someone at Votes for Policies has kindly wrriten us a piece on why we need to prove people wrong as a generation. Check it out.
